Flexible Ways to Buy
A $2,500 deposit reserves your homesite. Vendor financing is available for up to 12 months interest-free, or up to 18 months at 6.9% to 7.9%. Banks including Citibank, Scotiabank and BAC offer mortgages to non-residents in Panama, and Bitcoin is accepted as payment.
Residency in Panama
Every lot-and-home combination qualifies for the Friendly Nations Visa (minimum $200,000 investment). The Golden Visa Investor Residency (minimum $300,000) is available with all models except the base Sapayoa, Parakeet and Eufonia. Because residency and non-residency purchases use different sales agreements, tell us early if residency is your goal.
Room to Build
Panamanian law sets no limit on how many homes can sit on a single homesite. The practical limits are what physically fits and what permits can be obtained, so larger lots may leave room for more than one smaller home, subject to permit approval.
