A great community is more than great homes. Here is a look at the shared spaces taking shape at Veritas Village Coronado.
The Tilapia Pond
The most noticeable change near the entrance is the shaping of the community tilapia pond and the widening of the road beside it. A stone gabion wall gives the bank lasting structural integrity and natural erosion control. Once the major work is complete, a dock and beach area around the pond are planned.
A Gym With a View
The gym layout and design are complete. With a glass front overlooking the pond, it should be a very relaxing place to work out. Construction begins once the road beside it has been widened.
A Gate That Says You Have Arrived
The design for the new front entry and guard station is about 95% complete, and construction starts as soon as the gate permits are received. We are designing one consistent entry for every Veritas Village, so when you visit a sister community you will know right away that you have arrived at a Veritas Village.
The Community Pool
The community pool has been refreshed with new resurfacing and blue tile accents, making it more durable and more inviting.
Heritage Buildings With Character
We have been restoring several of the existing buildings on the property. Many were made from materials found on site: lumber posts milled on site, bamboo ceilings and volcanic rock walls. The repaired workshop now stores construction equipment.
Solar-Powered Bitcoin Mining
Excess solar power does useful work at Coronado. A solar-powered Bitcoin mining operation at the Welcome Center has been running daily since spring 2025. It shows how far solar technology has come, and it fits a community where Bitcoin is accepted for purchases and spending.
